Surface World

​

 

Walks, mainly on the Sussex coast and

River Adur, plus influence of Brighton culture, have led to abstracted seas and river scenes.

 

Earlier work in the collection has focused on scene setting, with later imagery looking at the changing environment beneath, locally and globally including a series on the

melting of the ocean ice caps.

 

''Coast to Coast:: Saltdean to Shoreham"  series is  a visual journey from clifftops, through Brighton'.s resort to the breakwaters of Shoreham.​​

Underworld​

 

This newer series  focuses on interpretation of what goes on beneath the sea and waterways, through intuitive abstracted biomorphic forms and as we delve deeper into the seas and oceans, we are exposed to a previously unknown world of fantasy-like fish, other creatures and flora

- A world previously separate from humanity.
